Hart Davis Hart Wine Co. will host an exceptional wine auction on Saturday, December 6th at 9:00 a.m at Tru restaurant.
The sale will offer 938 lots of the world’s finest and rarest wines, including an exciting selection of Bordeaux from the heralded 1982, 1990 and 2000 vintages. Consignments feature such wines as Château Pétrus, Screaming Eagle, Château Haut-Brion, and Château Lafite Rothschild as well as a large selection of Burgundy from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Domaine Ponsot and Comte Georges de Vogüé.
The sale is estimated at $1.4 to $2.1 million. “One of the greatest features of the upcoming auction is the diversity of offerings,” notes Michael Davis. “In addition to a treasure trove of top Bordeaux, other exciting lots include a full case of the legendary Heitz Cellars Martha’s Vineyard 1974 and a Methuselah of La Tache 1990 that was acquired by the current owner in 1993 and cellared perfectly since. There’s clearly something for collectors of every category.”

The live auction will take place at Chicago’s award-winning restaurant Tru, beginning promptly at 9:00 a.m. (CST) on May 16th. Tru is located at 676 N. St. Clair Street in Chicago.
