AmeriCredit Corp. has named Grand Rapids Auto Auction in Jenison, Mich., its 2008 Auction of the Year as part of the company’s nationwide Auction of Excellence program.
“We are proud to announce Grand Rapids Auto Auction as our national Auction of the Year winner,” said Dan Heinrich, AmeriCredit’s vice president of Asset Remarketing. “In 2008, Grand Rapids was a consistent top performer for us, and their ability to meet and exceed the high standards AmeriCredit has set for its auctions is quite an accomplishment.
Nathan Simonson, general manager at Grand Rapids Auto Auction, is thrilled with the Auction of the Year results. “Because AmeriCredit partners with so many auctions across the U.S., it’s a huge honor to be considered the best in 2008,” says Simonson. “We have strived to make our auction a niche sale for financial institutions that demand the highest levels of service, and I think we’ve achieved that.” He added, “Through the hard work and dedication of our team, we’ve met our goal to make Grand Rapids the easiest auction to do business with.”
