New Orleans Abandoned Vehicle Auction Jan 15

The auction will be held at 10 a.m. at the Almonaster Auto Pound at 10200 Almonaster Ave. Vehicles will be available for viewing on Wednesday between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
There will be 130 vehicles for sale, all of which have been discarded on neighborhood streets or left unclaimed by residents with excessive parking fines and fees. All funding collected during the auction will go into the city’s general fund.
Brown’s Auction Company, of Lafayette, is the licensed, authorized dealer awarded the contract to conduct auctions on all city of New Orleans equipment. All vehicle information will be on Brown’s auction Web site, www.brownsauction.com/jan15.html.
