Michigan Homes for Auction
Published January 10th, 2009
The auction for nearly 500 homes in Michigan runs until Jan. 18 beginning at 1 p.m. at the Dearborn Inn at 20301 Oakwood Blvd., Dearborn.
“Because banks own a large number of foreclosures nationwide, they are aggressively discounting these properties at auction to quickly work down this inventory,” said Dave Webb, principal at Dallas-based Hudson & Marshall.
Since the properties are sold as-is, buyers are encouraged to inspect properties at open houses scheduled from 1-3 p.m. today and Sunday. Many properties have no reserve price set, so sellers take the best offer. On the other properties, bidders will need to meet the reserve price to win the auction.
Potential buyers can also bid on properties prior to the auction by going to www.hudsonandmarshall.com.
