Grady, Baltimore’s former fireboat has been sold in an online auction to an Ohio-based equipment supply company, raising $80,000, said Ian Brennan, a City Hall spokesman.

The auction for the Grady closed Nov. 18 after attracting 80 bids, according to Govdeal.com, the auction Web site. The buyer was Allan Johnson from Southshore Equipment Corp., said Chief Kevin Cartwright, a Fire Department spokesman.
