North Carolina Disposal Auction

The North Carolina Department of Revenue said it is preparing to auction off almost 200 seized items off Thursday at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds in in Raleigh.
Some of the items for auction have been seized from drug dealers, merchandise was taken through the state’s unauthorized substance tax, which levies penalties against anyone caught with more than 42.5 grams of marijuana, 7 grams of cocaine or 7 grams of heroin.
The state is aiming to raise $500,000 from the auction.
