Kaminski Auctions’ October Antiques, Art and Fine Estates Auction, held October 26 in Pasadena, California, offered fine art, antiques and collectibles from estates spanning Massachusetts to California.
Headlining the sale was an important painting by Austrian artist Hans Zatzka. The painting, Maidens with Cherub in Tree, is signed by the artist and is housed in an ornate museum-quality frame. Zatzka’s work is highly sought-after and this painting was no exception, realizing a final price of $57,500, a record price for the artist.
