Tiffany Planter Makes $39,100 at Kaminski Auction

A stamped Tiffany Studios jardinière featuring an intricate favrile glass mosaic design with gilt bronze floral features and an original copper liner, soared to $39,100 after a volley of bids, well exceeding its original estimate of $15,000-$25,000.
The planter came from a San Diego estate.
Additional decorative arts buys included a bevy of dining room accents. A 19th Century ormolu bronze chandelier realized $5,750, an impressive service of 20th Century vermeil gold plated dinner and bread plates reached $5,460 and a 19th Century French Sevres centerpiece sold for $8,050.
