Englishtown Auction Fire

A building at Englishtown Auction was damaged by fire on Monday night.

The alarm was raised shortly before 9:30 p.m., said police Lt. Glenn Essner.

Essner said that fire fighters had the blaze under control within about 20 minutes.

He said no one was injured, police and fire department are trying to determine how the fire started.

Englishtown Auction Sales opened in 1929.
