Star Wars T.I.E. Fighter Auctioned for $402,500

A Star Wars TIE Fighter was sold for $402,500 at a Profiles in History auction in Los Angeles.
The auction raised $4.1 million in total from the sale of of pop culture artifacts, historic documents, photos, props and posters on Thursday and Friday, according to Lorna Hart, the auction’s general manager. The T I E fighter, was the top lot.
