Bureau of Land Management takes in $11.7 million at oil and gas lease auction

The Bureau of Land Management generated nearly $11.7 million for leasing rights and rental fees on parcels offered at the BLM’s oil and gas lease auction Tuesday.
Bids ranged from the federally mandated minimum of $2 per acre to a high bid of $2,450 per acre. A total of 180,601 acres in 164 parcels were sold.
