Ten Commandments Film Tablets for Auction

Two faux granite tablets that featured in the 1956 biblical epic “The Ten Commandments” are expected to fetch as much as $60,000 at A Profiles in History auction that runs July 31-Aug. 1.
The costume Charlton Heston wore in 1959’s “Ben-Hur” the film that won him a best actor Oscar is also among the 1,000-plus pieces of Hollywood memorabilia in the auction.
Heston died April 5 at his Beverly Hills, Calif., home at the age of 84.
