US Marshals to Auction Morgantown House

Beginning Monday and running through Wednesday, Bid4Assets Inc., an online auction site for forfeited, surplus and tax-defaulted property from federal, state and local government and private industry, will conduct the auction of a single-family home in Morgantown.
Located at 470 Williams Road, off U.S. 19, the house was forfeited after the owner, Anthony Meredith, was arrested on drug charges in 2007. Meredith pleaded guilty to possession of heroin with intent to distribute in Monongalia County. He was sentenced in December to 10 years in prison, followed by three years of supervised release.
