Bids too low for Boyd printing plant in Albany

Published March 4th, 2008

The former William Boyd Printing Co. plant in downtown Albany, N.Y., wasn’t sold during a Feb. 29 auction because the highest bid was too low to satisfy bankruptcy court creditors, a real estate broker said Monday.

The highest bid was $1 million, said Tony Sabatino of Realty USA.

Boyd Printing filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in September 2005, listing $2.1 million in secured and unsecured debts.
