Nearly 600 automobiles will be up for sale today through Sunday at the 44th Palm Springs Collector Car Show and Auction.
About 20,000 people are expected to attend the world-famous car aficionado event outside the Spa Resort and Casino in Palm Springs, said the show’s host Keith McCormick, president of Palm Springs Exotic Car Auctions.
The event attracts people from more than 35 states and 25 foreign countries, officials said.
“I’ve already met people here from Stockholm,” McCormick said. “I’d say 15 to 20 percent of the cars sold are exported.”
