Brinkman Collection for auction in Aurelia Iowa – May 24-25

The Brinkman Collection Auction will be held over the course of two days, May 24-25 and will include over 900 lots comprising vintage lamps, Daum Nancy, Mary Gregory, Wave Crest, Royal Flemish and other vases, figurines, porcelains and more. The sale will be held at the Aurelia Community Center in Aurelia, Ia.
Some pieces in The Brinkman Collection expected to bring handsome gavel prices include an ultra-rare 14-1/2” figural porcelain miniature lamp with registry mark: Gray “Beady-Eyed Bat” (one of only three known); a 12” Daum Nancy five-color cameo pedestal handled ewer with “Columbine” floral décor; and a rare Victorian bride’s basket set on a “Three Cherubs” stand and stamped (1897).
Other choice lots will include a fine pair of 14” Heubach bisque bicycle rider figurines; a 17-1/2” raisin-colored Mary Gregory satin pedestal handled ewer (the finest Woody Auction has ever pffered); a rare 6-3/4” x 7” signed Wave Crest (banner mark) egg crate mold hinged box with young woman portrait; and a 10” Royal Flemish vase with multiple-colored segments and gold highlights.
