TAP Interactive hosts local charity auction benefiting Duke Children’s Hospital

TAP Interactive - a sister company of WarCry - will hold a gamer’s chairty auction on January 31st in support of the Duke Children’s Hospital. “A Gamer’s Valentine” is the first in an annual event they will hold and includes a chance to bid on Triangle area gaming personalities for a special date.

This year’s event features 10 auctionees, five men and five women, from the area’s hottest gaming companies. In addition to the generous donations already collected, TAP Interactive has received new contributions from more of the area’s best venues. A Gamer’s Valentine will bring in the masses for a night of socializing, networking and good times in support of a great cause.

A Gamer’s Valentine will be held January 31, 2008 from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. at White Collar Crime with all proceeds benefiting Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center. Gamers from local game development and production studios have volunteered themselves to go on the block. Auctionees and their highest bidder will win an exciting date provided by the Triangle’s finest restaurants and entertainment vendors.
