Troy/Maryville Area Chamber of Commerce 18th annual auction
Published January 13th, 2008
The Troy/Maryville Area Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for its 18th annual auction.
This year’s auction has been set for Feb. 22 at the Gateway Center in Collinsville.
Chamber Executive Director Dawn Mushill said everyone is invited. Mushill said the group hosts the event each year to raise money for the many programs offered by the chamber.
“The money assists the chamber in continuing the many community services it provides, such as delivering new resident packets to new residents who move to the area, continuing the ‘Art Under the Stars’ Program (movies in the park), making donations to the Triad School District Red Ribbon Week, being a resource for community questions and providing a resourceful Web site, including job opportunities and so much more,” Mushill said.
She added, “The chamber auction is the biggest event of the year.”
This year’s theme is Mardi Gras and along with the many auction items up for grabs, there will also be plenty of food and drinks for enjoyment.
