Wild West World Theme Park Auction Scheduled for Dec 11

The first auction is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 11 — if U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Robert Nugent approves the request from lawyers representing former park owner Thomas Etheredge. Included will be skee balls, ring toss games and park prizes, approximately 2,000 to 3,000 pieces.
Bud Palmer will handle each auction. Others, scheduled for 9:30 a.m., include:
• Dec. 13 — Inventory and equipment from the Main Street stores: Abilene General Store, Emily’s Sweets, Teddy Bear Emporium, Cattleman’s Mercantile, Livery Stable and Ellsworth Emporium
• Dec. 18 — Antiques, buggies, a stagecoach, silhouettes, horses, cattle, a wagon, life-size bronze Indian, log cabin, backyard castle and 50 one-ton stones
• Jan. 8 — Maintenance tractors, passenger trailers, mowers, a repair shop, golf carts, mules, trucks and a Restoration Farms Ford F-250 pickup
• Jan. 15 — Office furniture, computers, money counters, coin counters and wrappers, dollar counters, copiers, a public address system with speakers, safes, money carts and point-of-sale devices
