Actor Peter Fonda will auction off some of his memorabilia from Easy Rider, including the American flag taken from the back of the jacket he wore in the film.

Fonda, who produced, co-wrote and starred in the 1969 cult film, “just decided it was time to share some of his treasures with collectors and fans,” said the Dallas Heritage Auction Galleries memorabilia director Doug Norwine.

The flag is estimated to be worth 50,000 U.S. dollars.

The auction is to be held on October 6.
