Auctions to empty two Clarion Technologies Inc. plants brought in more than $2 million to the troubled plastic-injection molder, according to Stopol Auctions LLC.
The March 21 online and on site auction at its Caledonia plant drew 150 bidders, while an auction at its sister plant in Ames, Iowa, had 180 register for the sale.
Clarion’s footprint in West Michigan is down to one plant in Greenville and corporate offices in Caledonia.
