Helena Police confiscated items for internet auction

Helena Independent Record The Helena Police Department will soon be aiding the public in a new way — helping citizens get a steal of a deal, quite literally.

Unclaimed items found after burglaries and other crimes that have been clogging the department’s evidence room will be available on an Internet auction site.

Art, jewelry and computers are just a few of the hundreds of goods the department will be selling through PropertyRoom.com.
