eBay Buying StubHub for $310M

EBay Inc. is buying rapidly growing online ticket broker StubHub Inc. for $310 million in cash, further expanding the Internet auctioneer’s electronic bazaar. The San Jose-based company announced the deal late Wednesday after the news had already been leaked to the media.
In a statement, eBay said the agreement would have an estimated total value of about $310 million, which will include the company’s net cash at the time of the deal’s closing. The final amount will be determined based on a formula at closing.
The sale, is expected to close before April.
