Overstock Discontinues Affiliate Program

Overstock.com has discontinued its auction affiliate program. Overstock.com spokesperson Jared Matkin said the reasons for the program’s termination were the high rate of non-paying bidders that were generated by affiliate traffic, and that overall, the affiliate program was contributing roughly 1 percent of auction sales.

EarthShell Corp to auction assets after chapter 11 filing

Biodegradable packaging materials company EarthShell Corp has received approval from the bankruptcy court to auction its assets for at least US$1 million. The sale will take place on 7 March.
