Bid4Assets, an online auction marketplace, has won a new contract from the U.S. Marshals Service worth up to $4.75 million to auction property forfeited to the federal government.
The latest contract, which runs for one year and has five one-year options, extends a seven-year relationship between Silver Spring-based Bid4Assets and the marshals service. The company will provide online auction services for the sale of commercial and residential real estate, personal property such as cars, boats and jewelry, and financial tools such as investor funds.
