Art, nautical items, scrimshaw & more at MV Auctions

Vintage nautical items, period furniture, important works of art by listed American painters, decoys and antique whale’s teeth scrimshaw will all come up for bid at a Thanksgiving sale to be held November 25th by MV Auctions / Auctions of Cape Cod and the Islands in Hyannis, Mass.
“The quality merchandise has just been rolling in. It’s really unbelievable,” said Ed Tessier, president and owner of MV Auctions. “I’ve been holding Thanksgiving sales for about eight years now, and I can say with confidence this will be the best one we’ve had in at least five years. Almost everything is fresh to the market and top quality.”
The auction will be held the Saturday after Thanksgiving – November 25th –beginning at 2 pm. There will be a preview from 10 am until the start of the sale. The event will be held at the function hall located at 852 Bearses Way Hyannis, on Cape Cod.
