US College auction Web site launched

Called ACollegeTrade.com, the Web site is an auction venue that sells items ranging from textbooks to electronics, furniture and more. The site is free to use and is localized by university.
ACollegeTrade.com has more than 60 major universities signed up, including the University of Texas, Florida State University, Yale University and Baylor University.
“We’ve used our experiences as students to develop a site that is designed with students’ needs in mind,” says Parrish Moore, CEO of ACollegeTrade.com.
Austin-based ACollegeTrade.com is actively pursuing funding in order to expand its marketing. The company also has an office in Houston.
