Buckhannon WV Auctions Unused City Property

The Buckhannon Fire Department is getting ready to move into its new station and Tuesday the city auctioned off the old station.
It also sold the old city sewage treatment plant and several other properties. Progessive Bank bought the old South Locust Street station for 245 thousand dollars. It will have to wait until the new fire station is finished before it moves in. The city attorney says all of the properties sold today fetched 473 thousand dollars
