Antiques, oriental dolls and rugs and a century-old mirror were among old items from the Indiana governor’s residence sold at auction yesterday.
Indianapolis television station WTHR reports the sale raised $78,000.
That’s far more than the $25,000 to $50,000 officials had expected.
The Governor’s Residence Commission held the sale, which included hundreds of items stored in the home’s attic, basement and garage since the 1970s.
