San Diego Police to auction property

Surf boards, bicycles, power and hand tools, computer equipment and other items are up for bid this morning at the San Diego Police Department property room auction.
Electronics, new clothes, jewelry and sporting equipment are also for sale starting at 10 a.m. in the Corinthian Room of the Scottish Rite Center in Mission Valley.
Items can be viewed from 9 to 10 a.m. today at the center at 1895 Camino del Rio South. Parking is free.
Purchases may be made with cash or personal checks on local banks only. Proper identification is required. There will be no refunds and no guarantees.
The next police auction is scheduled for Sept. 16.
