Chicago Musician Sells Rights To Hit Song on eBay

Katherine Schell, a Chicago-based musician known for her soulful, eclectic and soothing rhythms and vocals, became the first artist to sell the rights to her music on eBay.
Beginning today, the 21-year-old singer/songwriter/pianist is holding an eBay auction for the exclusive one-year rights to her hit song “The Gravity Situation.” Under the terms of the auction, the purchaser will retain exclusive commercial rights to “The Gravity Situation” for one year.
