Utah-based Overstock.com has tied into San Diego-based AuctionCheckout.com for an online payment service, the companies said this morning. AuctionCheckout.com provides credit card transaction processing for buyers and sellers of auctions. Overstock said that sellers can enroll at AuctionCheckout.com, and completed transactions will result in deposits to their checking account. Overstock.com also said that AuctionCheckout.com will offer discounted rates on its payment services to all of Overstock.com’s Auction sellers. Overstock’s auction web site provides an eBay-style, auction web site for consumer and other goods.
