On Saturday, June 24th, the oceanfront property goes on the auction block.

There’s already interest from potential bidders from as far away as Germany and the West Coast.

Tranzon Properties Auctioneer Tom Saturley says inquiries have come from Germany as well as Oregon, California, Arizona and Florida among several other states.

Saturley says the “Red House,” which was built in the 1930s, is known by sight by art lovers everywhere. The painting “Red House” is currently on loan to the Wyeth Center at the Farnsworth Museum in Rockland.

The auction will be held at the Samoset Resort in Rockport.
