Warren Buffett ukulele auction has slow start
Published May 17th, 2006
The online auction for a ukulele autographed by Warren Buffett has begun, with early signs that the instrument may fetch somewhat less than a lunch that the world’s second-richest person auctions each year.
Buffett, who runs Omaha, Nebraska-based Berkshire Hathaway Inc., is offering the white ukulele on eBay Inc.’s Web site. Proceeds will go toward the Omaha Children’s Hospital.
