Published April 13th, 2006

Doors open at 8 a.m. Saturday, April 15, at the Westchester Central County Garage at 38 Brockway Place, White Plains. The auction, which is usually held once or twice a year to dispose of items no longer needed, starts at 9 a.m. The vehicles and equipment for sale all come from the County and have been used by various departments.
The roster of items includes about 40 vehicles sold “as is,” including sedans, pick-ups, tractors, dump trucks, trailers and vans. Also on the list are roll-off containers, snowplows, mowers, spreaders, blowers, and other miscellaneous equipment parts.
To arrange for inspection of the equipment or for information, call Steve Connor at (914) 995-4961 between 8 AM - 3 PM. Inspection before bidding is strongly recommended.

Buyers must put 25 percent down in cash at the time of sale and the balance in certified check or cash within five business days of the sale. Any item for $1,000 or less must be paid in full on the day of the sale. Copies of the auction list and the complete terms and conditions are available on line or 38 Brockway Place this week between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
