Joe DiMaggio, “the Yankee Clipper,” was one of the greatest baseball players of all time. He apparently was also one of the greatest collectors of Joe DiMaggio memorabilia. DiMaggio saved almost every significant memory from his career.

“Most of his peers, everybody that saw him during the period, say that he just did everything with ease. Whether it was hitting home runs, catching a ball, running, it just seemed that it was almost magic,” said David Hunt.
