Broken Status Quo Guitar Auction Raises $5,000 For Charity

According to a posting on veteran U.K. rockers STATUS QUO’s official web site, the eBay auction of bassist John “Rhino” Edwards’ broken guitar, unplayable and signed by all members of the band, raised £2,910 (approximately $5,000) in aid of the Shona Smile Foundation (aimed at helping children, and their parents, that are suffering from cancer).
