eBay responds to alleged fraud complaints

For the first time, the online auction site eBay has publicly responded to complaints of fraudulent auctions by user Alisher71, possibly a Naples resident. In the last 30 days, Alisher Mardonov and Shahnoza Khakimova allegedly listed over 1000 items on eBay, accepted payment, but never delivered the merchandise.

Cook County auctions off properties with unpaid taxes

Ivey-Selkirk Auctioneers celebrated its 175th year as the oldest auction house in the Midwest and one of the oldest locally owned businesses with a Winter gallery auction held on December 3 and 4, at 7447 Forsyth.
