Lunch With Murdoch for auction
Published November 6th, 2005
There may be no such thing as a free lunch with media mogul Rupert Murdoch. Bidding is underway on the eBay auction of a lunch with Murdoch – the opening bid has been set at $25,000. Murdoch is offering the lunch to raise money for the Jerusalem College of Technology, one of Israel’s main academic institutions in high-tech engineering and industrial management. The winner bidder will, together with four friends, be wined and dined at the News Corp world headquarters in Manhattan and have a heart-to-heart with its chairman and chief executive. The auction began November 3 with an online screening process for all bidders; it is slated to end on November 10.
