Two Art Pieces, “Certified and Guaranteed” to Belong to Picasso and Miro Can Not Be Authenticated After Two Years of Purchase

Princess Cruises, one of the 12 cruise lines owned by Carnival Corporation (NYSE: CCL) operates its own art auctions at sea. One of its cruise clients from Upper Saddle River, New Jersey received a strange phone call from Princess Cruises this year, in April. Princess Cruises representative on the phone was asking Ms. C.G. to send back the two pieces of artwork she and her husband purchased during one of their Princess cruise vacations back in November 2003.
