Published August 30th, 2005
WhaBam Inc. has launched an online auction site . The site offers auction and fixed-price format listings that can be up to 30 days in duration, as well as wanted listings for buyers who post items they are looking to purchase. The site charges sellers a monthly fee ranging from $9.95/month (with permission to list up to 10 items) to $49.95/month (with permission to list an unlimited number of items). Buyers can register for free and post an unlimited number of want ads.
WhaBam was founded by Eren Niazi. When asked how he would attract buyers to the site, Niazi said he would use marketing alliances formed from his other company, Open Source Storage.
